tea and strumpets

went to have a little visity visit with my dear friend karen today whom i have lost connection with lately. soooo great to see her, sooo much i've missed. she's a good hugger, a good listener, good storyteller and i love love love the way she doesnt mince words, no matter hooow fragile you might be! karen: "...so my neighbor is a total nerd and..." me: "wait, hold it....i'm a total nerd!" karen: "you are NOT a total nerd!" me: "yes i am, i'm a dork!" karen: "well a dork and a nerd are NOT the same thing and you CANNOT be a nerd if you are a whore!" me: "oh, ok...dork then. i'm a dork." pause.... me: "wait, did you call me a whore?" my dear sweet friend karen called me a whore.
