- sneezing after doing 100 crunches is exactly what a hari kari feels like! 

- i have a trainer at my new gym and it's a boy....it is much harder to be motivated  with him than when i was being trained by the kim. 

- getting in the shower after my work out this morning, i stubbed my toe because i couldnt lift my weary leg high enough to step over the edge of the tub.

- working out my legs this hard the day before going to new york to climb three flights of stairs daily was a big bad idea!

- in 21 days i will be boarding a flight back to europe. amanda in tow, first to germany to meet the beloved martha, then to italy. 

- speaking of the beloved martha....it appears i have found myself in a long distance relationship.  and this isnt a wimpy ass LD relationship...we're talking a 2 hour flight, 3 hour layover, 8 hour flight, 6 hour time difference across a very large ocean LDR! 

what?

why yes i am!

- amanda is on her way over to eat dinner with me now. i cooked. chicken with rosemary and steamed veggies. go figure....yours truly in the kitchen and i'm not even using a frozen food OR a microwave.

- we are preparing ourselves over the next 3 weeks for our trip by drinking wine and watching italian flicks. so far, under the tuscan sun and tonight nuevo cinema paradiso and a fellini, 8 1/2.

- that fellini....he's one messed up fella!
