the good 52 days...

- well the gist of the trip has been told. not much more to tell after the last installment other than the end of this trip had some tears. sad to part for all i think. although with an over booked plane, i volunteered to stay an extra night to let others have my seat....a good samaritan am i! oh, they did give me a free round trip ticket to europe but that's beside the point. - i just got my first "blogher" check. i got a whopping $26. my first dollars on the road to blogging richness! woo! keep clicking those ads over there to the right. baby needs a new pair of shoes. - this week has been busy! lots of packing of the susan as she relocates her fanny up to NY and i reinstall myself into my friends lives since the trip. wine wine and wine, laughs and tenderness. i am a lucky girl to have these folks in my life! -i went to yoga last week. i loved it. i miss it. my body needs action again. all kinds of action. you know what im sayin! - weekend schedule has involved much productive houshold activity. since moving here in my little diamond, it has mostly felt temporary. i've lived here more than 3 years and i hung my first picture on the wall only 1 year ago. now, i am ready for it to feel like home. i painted and scrubbed and rearranged and decorated and weeded and washed and organized. it feels good! anyone wanna come for a little visit?? i'm ready! - last night while working in my garden, i got greater than 50 mosquito bites...i stopped counting so i cant give an exact number. my arms were on fire! - this week welcomes a new arrival to our little home. a baby? you ask. NO. a puppy? NO. a lovely shiny new mac book pro? YES. i am in love. i want to rock her. i want to caress her. i want to lick her. pictures coming soon, just you wait! - my mail man is a stalker. he drives by my house at least 10 times in a day! no joke! ask raven, she's my witness! 7 Comments |
