let the vacation begin.... 7:39 AM

dinner in nice was nice :)

we had a cart wheeled to our table covered with an assortment of dead fish. susan had to avert her eyes and we had to order for her and tell her it looked like chicken. our table at coco beach overlooked the mediterranean, mountains in the distance, sun setting, stunning!

after sleeping, we set off to do our job. oh the burden....we shot in a majestic home custom designed and built on a high point in st. jean cap ferrat. the house had 365 degree views, one of which was brad and angie's villa. i think i saw some sun bathing over at the villa but i cant be sure until i get a closer look at my telephoto images.

the wedding was also set in majesty and it was a non traditional jewish ceremony with a genuine gospel choir. vedddddy interesting!

the reception was on the beach of the mediterranean and they had an enormous metal structure draped in white with elaborate table settings adorned with 100's of $$ worth of orchids. a large kickin' band, a hebrew singer that i think had done a stint on the love boat. they had their initials illuminated larger than life on the sea wall. huge leather couches scattered about on the beach with lamps and candles and flowers, special lighting and drapes and they even had the sand covered with felt to make it easier for the women to walk in their heels. it was astoundingly gorgeous!

yeh, well we worked it til 2 and then we discussed doing a "trash the dress" session in the AM. and we did. a car picked us up at 5:15. so we didnt even bother sleeping. we packed and showered and ok, lets do the math....wait, i'm realllllly sleepy, i cant do math at the moment! anyway, lets just say i am now sitting in the rome airport waiting for my connecting flight back to martha and dagmar and i have been awake for 26 hours. well, except for the fleeting moment where my head bobbed on the plane and i hit my face on the window blind. great!

my battery is dying so i must go....between low batteries, crappy internet connections and exhaustion. you are getting no photographs as of yet. i do have a bunch to post. i'll post them all together and we can play a game of match the photo with the story.

at least the work is done and play is happening almost immediately, after a nap.

ciao
