there's always more...
4:56 PM
- friday night, the kim telephoned to see if i wanted to go out to rayn and since i had worked so hard on my house, i knew i was entitled to some self indulgence...and self indulge i did. i always feel full of lechery when i am around the kim but i am not the only one. on this night and frequently, she has complete strangers approach to tell her how gorgeous she is. it makes her blush which i would have to say makes her all the more charming! we had wine, we danced, we people watched and we came to my house and she taught me to salsa and meringue to celia cruz in my bedroom. and then i blushed.... - when chelsea was a wee one, she dropped then picked up and ate chips off the floor of the restaurant we were at. they were only on the floor for 10 seconds max and you all know the 10 second rule right? anyway, this not so innocent bystander piped in with her 2 cents about "dirty, nasty blah de blah" and i told her to mind her own damn business, we were workin' on makin' my daughters immune system stronger! (i didnt really say damn but i did say the last part!) - yesterday i saw a handicapped bird whose foot had been amputated from the knee down. i wondered if it had been injured or if it were actually a birth defect. i watched it for a while as it held it's balance in the wind and cleaned it's self in the rain. i wonder if the other birds make fun of it? - are you all clicking the ads to right of my page? remember it is for the greater good and i encourage you to do it! - i do not understand ms parker's problem....i give her the flea junk from the vet and still she itches and scratches and tears the hair out of her rear end. in fact when i gave her a bath today i did not see one single solitary live flea on her NOR a nary dead one floating. no fleas! what's the deal? anyway....it's causing parker to have quite the comb-over on her ass. it might be time to shave her again! - raven has always been quite the fearless aggressor! even before she could walk, she would crawl up onto the back of the couch and wait for the unsuspecting 2.5 year old chelsea to round the corner and then throw her 6 month old body over the edge pinning chelsea to the ground. chelsea would kick and cry and raven would throw her head back, nostrils flared and laugh maniacally....scarily so for a baby! by the time she was 5 she had lost a fingernail, had 3 black eyes, busted open her head and knocked a tooth loose! wild thing! - i have had some alone time this weekend which has been healing and good for me. why do i fear it so much if it refills me, rejuvenates me and clears my head? - i love spring. i love the flowers and the birds, the warm sun and cool breeze, the widely varied greens sprouting up all over and the restless heat that fills every living thing. it's a feeling of expectation and desire. dreamy longing. i don't have a picture of that but i do have one of the pollen that lays in sheets across my back porch.... ![]() 20 Comments |
