- for my own personal life soundtrack, bedhead betty sang "circles" by sarah as i drove round and round the parking garage with my parking permit clutched tight for over 1/2 an hour without luck of any sort. i parked in a restricted spot, walked away feeling anxiety and walked back quickly because i knew i'd live to regret it. i circled for another 10 minutes, then in utter frustration and with tears in my eyes, my boobs puffed out and a sweet sweet "can you help me" voice, i asked a security guy where i could park. he looked me up and down and told me to "go ahead and park in that restricted area".....he'd make sure i didn't get a ticket. woo. so i did. and i shook my ass all the way past him to the stairwell. big deal, so what....

- the weather was delightful, the music was superb....i sat under a splendid oak with a cool breeze and watched the band bake in the sun on the hot-plate of a stage. i felt for them, i really did but i was really just oh so thankful for my shade.

- i got to visit with people i like muchly and hear goood gossip! i love gossip and dirty details were so abundant yesterday. you know how i only have 2 degrees of separation in tallahassee because i am related to everyone? well....a thing that occurred to me yesterday after getting all the juice is that i am in even a smaller circle of people due to the prevalence of lesbian incest. maybe in actuality, there is only one degree of separation AND just maybe it's not even that. everyone has slept with everyone in this circle.

- someone asked me yesterday if i had started working out again. "why, yes i have, why?" and this person said they could tell because i was looking buff. raawawwr! 

- after la earth day gig, i walked apprehensively to my car. worried the security guy was just blowing smoke....i found my car parked amongst many other cars all of which had tickets, 'cept mine! 

-heat exhaustion killed my super cute drummer girl so we spent the evening curled together in a very therapeutic way. it was my job to make her feel better and i take this job very seriously!
