10 days and counting...

we leave for our trip next friday (25th) and i am using "we" lightly, because with the week i've had with a certain unnamed kid, i may opt to leave behind the little darlings. and go alone. and not come back. ever. never! here is where i brag a bit... we fly into frankfurt germany and will be spending a couple of days in the state of hessen with friends martha and dagmar and then we go to rome. i cant even imagine all that we must see while there!! luckily martha will be with us. she loves rome and has been many times. she speaks the language and will be our own private tour guide. thank god for martha!! i guess my plan is to don a camera and walk until our feet fall off and then walk around on our nubbs until we wear them down to our knees, we might call it quits then but crawling may come into play. after rome we fly back to stay in hessen and have planned a trip along the romantic road to king ludwig's castle and a night at a hotel in bavaria near austria.   the cinderella castle of disney is modeled after king ludwig's castle. i am interested in seeing the rhine river and some of the castles that line it's banks. chelsea and raven are most excited about the castles.....hope they get to go! well so far this is all i know. and really i don't have space in my head for much more than this right now anyway, so it's best! 11 Comments |
