- raven is a good dancer. i busted her breakin' it down in the hallway a couple of nights ago and it appears that she got alllll the dancing genes available for this side of the family and possibly the other side too.

- yesterday i awoke with a sore throat. today i feel no better, a bit worse actually. i am a big ole baby when i'm sick with some crying and whining and i want someone to take care of me. super cute drummer girl did that for me last night. she cooked dinner, presented us with "strangers with candy" for entertainment, gave me a massage and did kid driving this morning so i could sleep in. super cute drummer is also super sweet.

- this weekend is red hills horse trials; one of the things i look forward to every year! cross country is my fav and you will find me at the water jump. the weather is usually crazy delightful and i could watch the horses all day, but i also enjoy the people watchin' and nappin' in a sunny spot. yum. (hope i am feeling better)

- i only had about 8oz of diet coke this morning. i am almost done with caffeine. wait! maybe thats why i'm sick, i'm going through heavy withdrawals. maybe i'll have a bit more today to alleviate my discomfort....

- FCAT happened for the girls this week and apparently we parents have our own brand of testing during this time... (see email from school below)

i mean really....thats asking an awful lot! i think i may have done poorly on my test; what do they think mornings are like around here with two adolescents?? sure, sure, i did feed them breakfast but it made chelsea queasy all day. and unhurried? well, that is practically impossible! encouraged and positive.....i just said "go get 'em tiger!" you think that counts? god, i hate standardized testing. i cant' handle the stress!
