festival of flavors 11:05 AM



dinner was planned last night around a bottle of wine. the super cute drummer girl cooked and i arrived with the cakebread. cakebread is a mild obsession of mine because of its clever ability to change flavors with each new taste you put into your mouth.

we savored it, drinking it slow, really paying attention to the newness of each sip and how it reacted with the most recent spice or seasoning playing on our tongues. when we ran out of dinner, we looked about for more sensations to be had *wink*.

we tried the cakebread with salmon, asparagus, chocolate, goat cheese, peanut butter, banana, caramel, oreo, rosemary crackers and other things i'll dare not mention in mixed company.
