long nite 9:00 AM

stop #1
drummer girl(julie) and i had ourselves a fine time trying bizarre chocolate beers purchased for us by an overly sensitive, mid-divorce dispute, drunk man at a local bar who swore he had the authority to tell us anything we wanted to know about brewing and sampling and he was gonna pay the way for it too. who are we to turn him down?

post brewery school and with the relief from our narrow escape, dancing was on our minds!

side note: my cute little drummer girl cant keep herself still when there is music playin...
will stop mid sentence, smooth all expression from her face as she goes away to that place where she listens to each and every single little nuance separately right before she scrunches her face and starts shaking her ass to the beat sayin..."you hear that? you hear that?"

mostly, NO i do not hear that. i hear songs as a whole, cant pick out the rhythm guitar from the bass guitar and drums...no, i hear a beat and some other stuff and i see her moving! so anyway, dancing has become our thing...dancing and dancing and then a little more dancing. not something i've done much of over the past few years but enjoying it with a new found desire to throw myself around on a dance floor. becoming? eh, prolly not but fun!

stop#2
where do local lesbians go in little tally? down below! what is the draw? well for the two of us, it's the old school r&b because drummer girl is all black inside! many others flock there for the karaoke...i'm just sayin, i do not do the karaoke and i've also never really seen it done well until this night! julie(the drummer) belted out a song with keith (the dj) and it was so fantastic that the noise around the room with all the jaws hitting the floor was deafening! there was a cry from the young lesbian crowd of "somebody get me a towel!" and we can only assume what that means.

stop#3
our local "upscale" nightclub (upscale, this makes me laugh, HAH!) with drinks in hand and the mad racing to the floor, i suppose i missed the energy rising and the air being pulled from the room as young folks scurried around and about to the arden and her date with information of our arrival. there was the moment where i turned and saw the back of her neck. the unmistakable and familiar neck avoiding turning to look in my direction. i suppose she had already experienced the punch in the stomach that i was feeling, seeing her next to the fetching red head of her blogs who by all accounts does happen to be very fetching.

questions were pulsing through my head; should we leave? should i cry? run? should i go and take arden's hand and pull her away and say, this is mine?

but i felt good and calm, i felt ok and safe and i just wanted to say hey, and meet the girl and hug the arden and wish them well. so, all was well and good and things will get easier now, right?
