routine

school has been successful thus far for both girls. raven actually said to me one evening, "i cant wait til school tomorrow!" do you realize what a big deal that is? kids just dont say that if they are older than 6. chelsea is still adapting but is realizing its not as scary and horrible as she had previously suspected! she's figuring out also that she is totally smart and that just because she has been attending a little non traditional charter school, she is way advanced. love that! funny thing is, this is the closest thing she has so far to a new friend: chelsea's blog me, im happy they are back in school. it puts routine back in my life. sure, im getting up earlier again. sure im a driving fool. sure, i have to pack lunches and threaten the kids within an inch of their lives to get them out from under the covers. BUT, ....i dont have to worry all day about what they are up to. they are held captive in a supervised environment for at least 6 hours a day. whew, now i can rest!!!
