phys ed.

chelsea very emphatically told me she will never, ever, ever do PE again, EVER! she described in great labored detail her experience with "dressing out", acting out all of the important parts while keeping a steady eye on me to make sure, for certain that i was abso-freakin-lutely paying very close attention to the pain, the agony and misery that she was forced to endure! keep in mind she has PE first period and the heat index in tallahassee florida is 1,025 degrees on a cool day, even in the morning!! my favorite part of all the animated story telling of her experiences of running, sprinting, jumping and such was what the closing statement for her argument was: "...mom, seriously, you know i dont do exercise....and i was suffering. i couldnt walk and i was dizzy. i thought i was going to puke and people were talking to me but i couldnt even respond...AND, AND, AND......my legs and arms were sweating!! I didnt even know that, THAT PART OF YOUR BODY COULD SWEAT!!!!!" Labels: chelsea, high school, pe, sweating 2 Comments |
