italy trip in 500 words or less....

we learned can text each other overseas. texting not so eloquent. lost ability to talk complete sentences! me: ciao bella! arden: you'd love it here. trying to be excited like you'd be. wish wish wish you were here-milan. me: aw sweetness....trying to be excited? in milan? omg! you need me there immediately! exhausted? jetlagged? have some goddamned fun for me at least!!!!! arden: LL* says we need you here for photo purposes. i have other uses in mind. mild jet lag. tired and off clock. found diet coke-coke lite- sandwich at an outdoor cafe. it is good. me: i'm jealous and tell LL* she thought of that toooo dang late! i'm multipurpose. i could've done the pictures AND what you have in mind! congrats on the coke lite. arden: mucho mucho ciao bambino me: pleeeease take lots of pictures and make sure you are in some of them. love you lots, have fun! arden: book is fantastic. wondering milan looking for dinner. LL* is wrangling upgrades, travel changes. you'd love all of this. lots of pics but realized i suck with camera! me: what kind of upgrades you talking? how long in milan? where to next? arden: venice. better hotels. leaving milan asap-not a popular place with this group. was good place to land and sleep it off. A arden: venice unreal, surreal, disney, gorgeous, decayed, elegant and old beyond american comprehension! 500 mediocre snapshots coming home to you. great food, happy people, water taxis, gondolas, ferries, no cars, no bikes. love you, miss you. how are you? A arden: hello from the train to pisa which will be followed by the train to la spezia-land of wine, hills, sea. miss you. txt me soon. me: oh wow! ache for you! come home soon. having fun? arden: some excitement, some frustration, some fascination, some boredom, lots of missing you... this would be such a diff trip. me: imagine how fantastic if we could've both gone. cant wait to see pictures arden: thats about a week away-think we can arrange time together. almost at the leaning tower... carsick, bye!
