the bandit

arden noticed the dog bowl had been dirtier than usual and i was certain daphnee, the dog was just getting careless in her old age. arden was certain that an animal was getting in the house during the night but i couldn't imagine how daphnee would keep her mouth shut about it because her mouth is beyond any form of self control. it accidentally lets out barks allll the time! the look on daphnee's face is obviously trying to convey a message to us humans when this occurs. the message is " i do not know what it is happening...why cant i shut up?" arden decided to put baby powder all over the floor by the food and water bowls and porch outside the dog door right before bed time to capture prints. she was all davy crockett like, 'cept without the hat! i just rolled my eyes. in the morning we found racoon tracks! for real! (i suspected raccoons all along! i actually only looked like i was rolling my eyes because i got baby powder in them and it was stinging!) see cell phone photography below....   this freakin' racoon has probably terrorized daphnee! there were tracks spread through a good portion of the main room where her bed is. she's still not talking! free association hypnosis to help with repressed memories begins next week. we hope this helps. maybe we can get a 2fer at the little doggie mental institution. parker and daphnee can be roomies.
