the last 3 days or so chelsea has been complaining of headaches. my first idea of it's root cause was the fact that her 5 foot tall self was playing rough with her >6 foot tall friend at the park and was tackled repeatedly. it was all in good fun mind you, but she did hit the ground pretty hard. i made hot packs for her shoulder and gave her little back rubs which she can hardly stand because she's so damned ticklish. still the headaches. last night i decided it was because she was not drinking enough water. here is our conversation: m: you should try drinking more water. i don't think you are getting enough. it might be causing you to have these headaches. c: hmmmmm.....ok, i'll drink more water if you buy me one of those hats that hold bottles of water and i can drink it through a straw during class. i really want to wear it in my math class so i can say, "excuse me, ms. ginny can i go refill my hat please?"   we laugh, but she's serious! 0 Comments |
