A day in the life...

0730 hours: depart from head-quarters with dependent #1, drive 5.03 miles to destination FSUS. From FSUS return to headquarters 5.03 miles to retrieve dependent #2 and deliver her to orthodontist 2.97 miles for 10 minute appointment and then deliver her to dentist .92 miles. Remain at location for approximately 1/2 hour and give them lots of money before returning to previous destination .92 miles to wait for approximately 1 hour. Take dependent #2 to drop site School of Arts and Science 4.85 miles. With dependents delivered, driver routed to primary destination (work) at 1100 hours 3.12 miles only to be re-routed to errand requiring repetitive hunt for parking slot 3.12 miles including 6 flight trek up and down stairwell in 100 degree weather wearing jeans and BLACK shirt. Additional errands equaling total of 4.67 miles before returning to previously mentioned primary destination (work) for a period of recovery, alone in restroom with head in sink. 1400 hours: depart from work to retrieve non-dependent passenger for commander in chief 1.14 miles plus sidewalk hike to and from the "waiting tree" in 100 degree weather wearing jeans and a BLACK shirt. Non-dependent passenger with desperate thirst requiring unscheduled but greatly needed detour to acquire beverages for all 2.10 miles. yum. Next stop FSUS to re-obtain possession of dependent #1 6.95 miles. Routed to dependent's income producing extra-curricular activity where message to abort was received 5.22 miles and then on to primary destination at approximately 1530 hours 3.34 miles. 1700 hours: conversational electronic device in need of repair requiring personal errand to professional cellular site .88 miles Satisfaction received although momentary making it necessary to circle block returning to aforementioned site to receive additional repair service .75 miles. Scheduled routing to re-claim possession of dependent #2 5.10 miles and dropping her at recreation facility 2.21 miles while dependent #1 demands supplies for following day placing driver in route to 3 additional locations totaling 2.09 miles. Return to drop-off location of dependent #2 1.44 miles to ensure transport of both dependent #1 and #2 to official headquarters at 2000 hours. Day, [dey] noun.
